Why do I have to do this?

It is a very important process for Ingham’s in order to mitigate and manage business and supply chain risk. The current supplier on-boarding process is not adequate for their needs and there are some challenges with supplier compliance data (such as insurance documents, certificates, licences etc.). This process will enable Inghams to collect, view and manage all supplier business and compliance data centrally, and ensure adequate on-boarding of accredited and preferred suppliers happens consistently. The aim is to continue being able to offer the highest levels of customer service and product quality, maintaining highest quality supply base standards in the industry

Where is the information going?

To Ingham’s so they can manage supplier on-boarding and compliance more adequately, and to reduce their business and supply chain risk. It will be kept on a secure Microsoft Azure cloud service and will managed by Robobai, who are a trusted partner of Inghams. Full confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements exist between Robobai and Inghams

Is the data safe?

Yes, all data will be kept on a secure Microsoft Azure cloud service that is hosted in country (Sydney, Australia) with redundancy in county also (Melbourne, Australia)

Why don’t Ingham's already have this information?

Some of the information exists, but is being managed and tracked manually by various different teams and departments throughout Inghams. This process aims at creating a single database via a secure web based platform that will allow Inghams to more easily manage supplier on-boarding and critical supplier compliance activities 

I answered the same questions not long ago – why do I need to do again?

We apologise if you need to do it again, but this is a new way of approaching this process and Ingham’s are taking the opportunity to refresh and validate all critical supplier data

How long will it take to complete?


Time to complete will depend on how much information you need to provide and how much of it you have at hand. The simple questionnaires (such as general information) should only take a few minutes. In reality, filling these forms out online won’t take any longer than filling them in manually (as you have done in the past) 

Why do we need to agree Ts & Cs with Robobai when we already have a contract with Inghams?

Your contract to supply goods/services to Inghams is unrelated to the terms from Robobai. The Robobai Terms & Conditions focus on things like platform use, data and privacy and don’t alter your supply contract with Inghams. Given Robobai are managing the system and taking payment, we are legally obliged to enter into terms of business with you

Why do I need to register for Gmail/Microsoft in order to access the platform?

We have tried to create a simple and safe login process that doesn’t require you to register yet another user name and password to enter the platform. As such, we are using Microsoft and Google credentials to manage access to the platform. If you do not have a Microsoft account or a Google account, you will need to register with one of these services. Both are extremely secure and won’t take long to create, and will enable you to seamlessly log into the SLM as well as many other sites/platforms. Each option will require you to temporarily move away from the platform to register, but the process is guided so you only need follow the prompts

Mandatory fields

There are certain pieces of information that are critical for Ingham’s to collect and as such are mandatory. You will not be able to submit the documents and complete onboarding without answering these questions. [Note – if for some reason they are having trouble with one, you may need to escalate]

This is strange given you have already registered with Ingham’s via a weblink. If clicking the link is an issue, you may copy and paste the link into a browser or type it in manually. This is similar to if you are doing a Google search for something

I am trying to use the platform on Internet Explorer but it doesn’t work properly

Unfortunately the platform is optimised to work on Chrome, Firefox or MS Edge. Please try again using one of those browsers

I am trying to upload an Excel file as evidence for XYZ but it doesn’t work

The platform will only accept pdf, jpg, jpeg, png, doc and docx files. Please convert to one of those to upload

Platform issues

If you get a call about tech issues, try to find out as much information as you can about what is happening. eg. if they can’t upload a document, ask them what it is they are trying to upload and in what section/question.
